A cute, idea for the party season from LUSH's Lipstick selection - mix your own shade.
I picked this at their Oxford Street Store, after a lot of umm-ing and urr-ing with one of their very sweet advisors who stayed put to help me decide after a busy Friday shift.
The reason of the indecision? I was tempted by their Shades of Nude, for their creamy dreamy coral, but my recent arsenal of nudes was filling fast and I needed a decent bright alternative to my preloved Mac Shades of yore.
SO I picked Shades of Pink, which I felt you could mix more freely and get more variation of colour out of. Another reason I love it? Zero packaging = zero waste. No plastics, stickers or unnecessary labelling.
Tips for application:
I'd use this colour with a lip brush, not your finger, as the intense colour is going to stain. You can mix the colours up in the middle, but as a neat freak, I prefer to mix it on my hand.
Here's a few variations of colour, I love how the bright raspberry pink seems to alter my usually grey, eye colour to a bright blue.
